Autoportret (Self-Portrait)
Taken in my student apartment, this photograph is a self-portrait that challenges conventional visibility.
The work plays with themes of disfigurement, depersonalization, and embodiment. By denying the viewer access to a recognizable “self,” it becomes a portrait of what it feels like to be looked at, not known.
Made in the same year as Odvod, the image shares its quiet tension between exposure and withdrawal.
