A series created during late pregnancy, combining drypoint printmaking with blind embossing.
The form came from the sensation of being a walking belly—slow, stretched, and full of invisible motion.
At the same time, it felt like being part of something older and vaster. The curves reminded me of rivers and mountains, of natural forces unfolding, of futures not yet formed and blank spaces waiting to be filled.
The central figure is both a shape and a space. A ridge and a hollow. Something holding, something about to open.
They are intimate landscapes—of transformation, containment, and anticipation.
