SJENE (SHADOWS)
Trakošćan Castle, 2022
This solo exhibition featured a series of abstract works exploring internal landscapes, emotional residue, and the soft tension between presence and disappearance. The title Sjene (Shadows) references both the visual language of the pieces and the psychological undertones—memories, projections, things left unsaid.
The works on view—gestural, layered, and atmospheric—reflected what the artist called “a personal emotional landscape, filtered through form, line, and silence.” Installed in the historic halls of Trakošćan Castle, the pieces invited the viewer to slow down, to sense rather than interpret.
The exhibition was not built around a single concept or narrative, but emerged as a visual field of pauses, thresholds, and quiet echoes. Only a small selection of the works are shown here. This is a glimpse into a larger, quieter world.
